Mentors play and learn at the Open Bench Project

Mentors are trusted guides.

They guide others by listening and providing encouragement. They understand the value of having a supportive, reliable role model. While they have a lot to give they understand the importance of putting other people’s curiosity first. They thrive off seeing others excited, engaged and learning. At the OBP we help mentors by providing a platform for sharing. We bring together those who are already excited to head down the path with those who have been down it before. It is by doing this that we build a robust community and pass along the wisdom, courage, and passion of the ages.

“I really like sharing my experience with others and supporting their effort.”
-Jim Hatch
