Resolutions for the New Year
Whether it’s the Wood Shop, Metal Shop, Electronics Lab, Screen Printing Zone, other members, or a place to mess about, we’ve got space and people for you and your projects to help you “make.” Get your stuff out of the kitchen or garage, come check us out, and let’s stick to those New Year resolutions together.
Generation of an Axe and Other Business Advice
Dating back to at least the Stone Age, the axe has a long history of specialized uses. From splitting wood to harvesting timber to ceremonial symbols, the axe is a true workhorse when it comes to tools. While other modern gadgets try to compete, there are few instruments that provide the same ingenuity and advantages as the axe. Partners Mark Ferguson, Steve Ferguson, and Barry Worthing of axe restoration company Brant & Cochran are doing their fair share to ensure that axes continue to be used and treasured for generations to come.
Give a Gift From the Heart
Give a gift from the heart this holiday season by hand crafting something unique, something fun, something completely unexpected. We found this “DIY Metal Motorcycle Sculpture” project and thought we’d pass it along for inspiration.
